Rezolut lawyers defended the interests of a resource-supplying client in a dispute with the Department of State Housing and Construction Supervision

The Department of State Housing and Construction Supervision of the Sverdlovsk Region conducted an unscheduled inspection of the Rezolut client, as a result of which it identified violations and sent relevant materials to the court to bring the client to administrative responsibility. When studying the materials, Rezolut lawyers found that an unscheduled inspection of the client was carried out without any legal grounds, and therefore the results of the inspection could not be used as evidence in this case. However, the court of first instance ignored the lawyers’ arguments, found the client guilty and brought him to administrative responsibility. In order to protect the interests of the client, Rezolut junior lawyer Roman Smirnov filed a complaint with the Court of Appeal, which, agreeing with the arguments indicated in the complaint, canceled the decision of the court of first instance to impose an administrative penalty and terminated the proceedings due to the absence of an administrative offense.
